Attorney 

Susan was born in Pietermaritzburg and grew up in Westville, matriculating at Westville Girls’ High School with Full Academic Colours. She obtained a BA Honours Degree cum laude from the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2012.

Susan graduated from the Howard College Law Faculty at the University of KwaZulu-Natal in 2017 and was a moot court finalist in the prestigious Ellie Newman Moot Court Competition. Prior to joining Ainsworth Attorneys Susan worked as an intern for the Public Protectors office under Advocate Thuli Madonsela.

Susan’s hobbies outside of the office include Pilates, curling up with a good book and a cup of tea, going for a walk on Salt Rock beach and spending quality time with her husband Crawford and children William and Lucy.
